Production Operator

As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be working on rotation shifts: 1 week on day shift (44 hrs Monday-Thursday) followed by 1 week on night shift (36 hrs Monday- Wednesday).

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the manufacture and processing of Arianor Dyes, Intermediates, Cosmetic Products, Lakes and Azo Dyes

• Operate processing plants, which may include the following: presses, reaction vessels, ovens, guedo’s, program setting, moisture checking, de-traying, kibblers, mills and blenders

• Operate mechanical handling devices

• Assist in the movement of materials

• Clean the working areas and equipment

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum GCSE’s Maths, English, General literacy and numeracy

• Previous work experience in a chemical or chemical processing environment is desirable

• You demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude

• You have very good communication skills 

• Exceptional time management, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills help you to be successful in this role
